The Daily Refresh

As the new president of the Chattanooga Writers’ Guild, Mark Anderson appeared on Chattanooga local interest program, The Daily Refresh, a feature of Channel 9. The skillful interviewer kept things going smoothly, saving me from the embarrassment of repeating myself and wandering off on side tangents. She was Great. Watch for yourself HERE

I moved to Chattanooga in May 2016 and immediately joined this community of writers. I joined the board of directors a year later in September 2017 and managed special events for two years then served as president for a year. I returned to the board this fall, 2023, and recently became president again. This organization has been so valuable to me for multiple reasons: I love creative people, I love rubbing shoulders with other writers, especially when they are better than me, and I have made friends here that will probably be with me for a very long time!
